Thumbnails were sharpened with unsharp mask 2.00 radius, 75% strength and 5 clipping.

Images below were edited by DIRRER to help identify Carlie Brucia's February 1, 2004 abductor for the FBI, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Sarasota County Sheriff's Office and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Images 1 and 2 were edited by DIRRER from low-quality internet images before we had the original video movie to make the video slides above. If we enlarged and edited all the above slides now, the quality (for the purpose of image recognition) would be significantly improved as can be seen in image 3 editing only frame 26 of the movie. Since the alleged abductor has been apprehended, only one frame 26 was enlarged and edited, image 3.

NASA has reported*  that editing the video movie they found their "quality wasn't much better than what they already had."

Although the quality of the video movie did not offer a lot of detail to work with, DIRRER was able to get a sharper image with more detail at 3.5x magnification by editing frame 26 using DIRRER proprietary image recognition software. This is the same software used successfully to positively identify some of the victims falling from the World Trade Center on Sep 11, 2001.
